Enhancing your Discord account’s security with two-factor authentication is crucial. This guide will walk you through setting up two-factor authentication on Discord using the Authenticator App.
- Start by downloading the Authenticator App from the App Store.

- Once done, go to Discord.
- Next, tap on your Profile in the lower right corner.

- Tap the Gear icon in the upper right corner to open Settings.

- Tap on Account.

- Tap on the Enable Authenticator App option.

- Enter your Discord password then tap Okay.

- Now, tap on Next.

- Copy the 2FA code shown on Discord.

- Go to the Authenticator App.
- Tap the + icon in the lower right corner of the Authenticator App.

- Tap on Choose Alternative Method.

- Select Enter Key Manually.

- Enter an account name for Discord. (whatever you prefer)
- Paste the 2FA key you copied from Discord then tap Add.

- Go back to Discord then tap Next.

- When prompted, tap on Allow Paste.

- Your 2FA for Discord is now activated. Tap Done.
